BEIJING - The four U.S. track cyclists who inexplicably donned surgical-style masks while proceeding Tuesday through the Beijing airport apologized Wednesday for what has to be one of the sorriest breaches of good manners any American Olympic athlete has displayed since, well, Bode Miller was boasting two years ago about being able to "party and socialize at an Olympic level."
